Jaipur:- The capital of the North- Indian State of Rajasthan, is named after its founder Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743). Majestic In the hues of its noble and serene past, the historic city stands out as a spectacular tourist destination. The city of colours is an extremely well-planned city surrounded by hills and dotted with forts. The pink city is a wonderful place to stroll around.

 

1)Best Time To Visit:- Winters are from October to march and are the best time to enjoy Holidays in Jaipur city. The Balmy days of Summer are extremely hot, and visiting the places of attraction at this time will not be a cheerful experience.   • Elephant Festival:-The festival is celebrated on a full moon phalgun Purnima. It includes the pujan of elephants and amazing activities associated with the majestic creatures.

3)Connectivity:-Being the major city of the country, Jaipur is well-connected to almost every corner of India via all the modes of transport.

  • Connectivity via Air✈:-The Jaipur airport is situated at Sanganer, which is 7km for the domestic terminal and 10km for the international terminal from the main city. The airport is well-connected all over India as well as overseas. Once, you reach the airport you can easily hire a taxi or a bus to reach the main city.
  • Connectivity via Railways🚆:-Indian Railways connect Jaipur to almost all the Indian cities. There are three main railway junction including the main: Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar, and Durgapur. Every Train has a halt at Jaipur junction and few trains stop at Gandhi Nagar and Durgapura. After getting down at the railway station, one can easily take an auto-rickshaw, bus or hire a taxi to reach the destination within the city. The Rajasthan state road Transport Corporation provides excellent bus service in between Jaipur and many other cities.   • Hawa Mahal:-Hawa Mahal is probably Jaipur’s most recognized building. Legend has it that the palace, which overlooks the main street of Jaipur's lively Old City, was built so that the women of the royal household could watch the streets below without being observed. A panoramic view can be had from the top of the building.

  • Jantar Mantar Observatory:-The name literally means calculation Instrument. There are 14 sculptures in total which measure time, eclipses etc.

  • Opening Hours- 9:00 am to 4:30 pm daily

 

ii)Food cuisines:-Jaipur is one of the most popular destinations for all the foodies. There are a number of outlets for various cuisines so one will never run out of options in the sparkling city.
