The grand Taj Mahal monument is more than 350 years old. The Taj Mahal was built in the 17th century by Shah Jahan-the fifth mughal emperor of India. Taj Mahal is a memento of love. As an alternative, a copper pot was there under each fountain pipe so that the water first fills the pot and then only rises at the same time in the fountains. The force in the pots is maintained inequality and so in the fountains.

All these aspects, the dates and the timings for the night viewing of the Taj are decided by the Archaeological Survey of India. Viewing the Taj Mahal at night takes place between 8:30pm to 12:30am in 8 batches of about 50 people for about 30 minutes each . Hence, only 400 people are allowed on a single night. Tickets for Night Tourism at Taj Mahal

Tickets are available 24 hours (1 day) before Night Viewing of the Taj between 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. at Archaeological Survey of India (A.S.I) 22, Mall Road, Agra . The tickets can also be cancelled at the above location on the same date of viewing before 1 PM with cancellation charges of 25% per ticket. The tickets will cost you Rs 750 for Adult Foreigner, Rs 510 for Adult Indian, Rs 500 for Child 3-15 year s both Foreigner and Indian and free entry for Children below 3 years of age for both Indians and Foreigners. Tourists must reach at Shilpgram, near Eastern gate of Taj Mahal half an hour before the scheduled time mentioned on their tickets for security checks.
