This place is in heart of Delhi near to railways Station. Located near Sarojini Nagar Bus Depot on AK Roy Marg is the Matka Market that houses a variety of home decor items all made out of clay. But one of the most unique things found here would have to be the jutti and other shoe-shaped games that can add just the bit of quirk to your balcony. Earthen hanging pots {INR 150}, ceramic wind chimes with pretty motifs {INR 250}, beautifully hand-painted idols of gods are just some other things we found at this market.

Hanuman Mandir: Chudi Bazar,
About Hanuman Mandir:  Jhandewalan Hanuman Mandir is one of the most popular Hindu temples in Delhi. The shrine is marked by the colossal 108 ft. statue of Lord Hanuman and can be seen from the both Jhandewalan and Karol Bagh metro station. The entrance of the temple is also an attraction, the entrance door has been carved in a shape of the mouth of the deity and one can reach the main hall of the shrine through a passageway.During the evening Aarti; the arms of Hanuman’s giant statue move back, the chest slides open and the beautiful images of Lord Shri Rama & Devi Sita protrudes to give darshan (sight) to all the devotees. Certainly a dazzling sight!

About Chudi Bazar: The name 'Churi Wali Gali' itself suggests a lane that sells endless varieties of bangles. This lane, dating back to the days of Emperor Shahjahan (woah!), survives as quiet testimony to the glorious days that existed around 400 years ago. The lanes of Chandni Chowk were planned in such a way that only a local person would know the ins & outs of the place which is the case even today; however, very little of the old world charm remains

A feast for the eyes, Shanti Mohalla is definitely one of the most entertaining markets in New Delhi. There are over 2000 shops exhibiting endless bolts of fabric in a maze of lanes crammed with trucks, rickshaws, pull carts and honking two-wheelers. Coloured fabric, printed or plain, some embroidered, others with sequins, cotton, silk or denim; this market is extraordinary. Plenty of cloth is sold by weight instead of by meter, so definitely bring an extra suitcase.
